By utilizing a multi-mode fiber backbone, the DAS enhanced the in-building coverage for UC Davis staff and employees in two of their hospital facilities. By integrating a micro-cell site with the DAS, cellular/PCS coverage and wireless LAN capabilities were made available on the same infrastructure.
