By utilizing a single-mode fiber backbone, the DAS was implemented to provide cellular coverage for B.A.R.T riders. Working closely with the primary cellular carrier, Tri-Power engineered a smooth transition for coverage throughout the tunnels and in multiple underground stations. Negotiations are continuing to enable other wireless carriers to utilize the DAS.
